Emerging Trends From a Laboratory Perspective
Dr. Neil Park is Vice-President of Clinical Affairs for Glidewell Dental, the world’s largest dental laboratory and a major manufacturer of dental materials, equipment, and implant components. At Glidewell Laboratories, he oversees clinical research and development and leads the continuing education programs. He also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Chairside Magazine and the Scientific Chair of the Glidewell Symposium, an annual educational meeting for more than 1000 dental professionals.
He received his DMD from Temple University School of Dentistry and practiced general dentistry in Florida before moving on to a distinguished career in the dental industry. While serving as Vice-President of Professional Relations for Nobel Biocare, Dr. Park managed the company’s continuing education programs and played a key role in developing and implementing a predoctoral implant curriculum in universities throughout North America. He has also led key practitioner education efforts for ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers, Henry Schein, and Zimmer Biomet Dental.
Dr. Park is a Diplomate of the International College of Oral Implantologists and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a co-author of the 4th Edition of Misch’s Contemporary Implant Dentistry and a member of the Editorial Board of The Journal of Dental Education.
