Leandro Soeiro Nunes graduated from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and became Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2006. During his Master of Science, he evaluated the behavior of biomaterials in sinus lift procedures and during the Doctorate degree he compared the biological behavior of several implant surfaces. In 2010 he moved to Bern (Switzerland) to join the ITI Scholarship program at University of Bern with Prof. Daniel Buser. Nowadays he is the Communications Officers of the ITI Brazilian Section, ITI Fellow and Study Club Director in Porto Alegre and Professor of Implant Dentistry at Brazilian Dental Association, as well as holding a private practice focused on oral surgery, implant therapies and bone augmentations.
