2020 Osseointegration Foundation Student Travel Grant Program
The Osseointegration Foundation (OF), the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Osseointegration, is proud to announce the OF Student Travel Grant Program. Twenty grants, each in the amount of $1,000, will be awarded to the recipients of the top scoring Oral Research and e-Poster abstracts submitted for the 2022 AO Annual Meeting. The grant is to be allocated toward travel expenses related to attending the AO Annual Meeting, February 24-26, 2022 in San Diego, CA, to assist in paying travel expenses including airfare, hotel and ground transportation.
This award is open to both AO student members and student non-members who submit an abstract for the 2022 meeting and are currently enrolled in a dental school program.
Members of the AO Research Submissions and E-Poster Committee will review and score the submitted abstracts to determine the best student presentations based on the quality of the research and relevance to the field of osseointegration. The grants will be distributed to the recipients at the 2022 AO Annual Meeting. All recipients must be present at the meeting to receive their grant.
All awardees must have paid their meeting registration fee and presented their abstract at the 2022 AO Annual Meeting. Only the designated submitter/presenter is eligible for the award and only one award will be given per presenter. This award is non-transferable.
Those receiving a Student Travel Grant may still be considered for the Best Abstract and e-Poster awards.
